A downloadable game for Windows

If you die on the battlefield it’s not my fault.

You think boot camp’s hard? Try surviving my camp.

In Full Metal Sergeant 2 you’re an hellish instructor. Your mission is to transform raw recruits into specialized war machines. Mold their minds and bodies, instill discipline, and hone their combat skills.

  • TRAIN HARDER, OR DIE TRYING: Assign recruits to 9 elite special forces roles. Push them past their limits: mental breakdowns, injuries, personal traits ,and desertion are your problem.

  • BUILD A CAMP THAT BREAKS BONES: Construct training areas designed to crush every weakness. Shooting ranges, obstacle courses, anything to forge the perfect warriors.

  • 12 WEEKS TO PERFECTION: Every training decision ripples into battle. If they're not ready they won't last much on the battlefield.

  • TURN-BASED COMBAT, PERMADEATH CONSEQUENCES: Lose focus for one turn? Say goodbye to your best soldier.

The gameplay is quite different from anything I've played, yet everything made sense thanks to the pace with which you unlock new mechanics and very readable UI.

The demo felt like it dragged on for a bit too long for the amount of content it has, as in the last weeks there was pretty much nothing to do.

Considering there are lengthy animations for each different kind of training, I assume this game is meant to be played slowly, not just speeding through every week. With that in mind, I feel like 12 weeks might be too long between missions. Also, it does not really feel like you are seeing your recruits improve and then finally triumph in the mission, because you were never able to interact with the "mission" type of gameplay until the mission itself. To fix both of these issues, I would argue that adding some kind of a "mock mission" after 6 weeks could help.

Overall, very interesting concept that has a unique appeal.

Thank you for your feedback!

It crashes upon mission completion.

It should be fixed in the 0.844, updated two days ago.

hell yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you encourage your recruits to do blanket parties if the useless private smuggles a donut into the barracks?

ahaha...no, but it's a good idea to implement maybe one day ;)
